CSaaS Client Success Story

Helping Providence Classical School Unlock the Full Power of Microsoft 365
From Email Challenges to a Modern Learning Platform
When Providence Classical School approached Carolina Software as a Service (CSaaS), their immediate concern was restoring control over their school’s domain and ensuring continued email functionality. What initially appeared to be a straightforward domain and email project quickly revealed a larger opportunity.
During discovery meetings with school leadership, the CSaaS team learned that Providence Classical School was already licensed for Microsoft 365 but was not utilizing many of the platform’s core services. Exchange Online email and Microsoft Teams were not fully implemented, leaving valuable collaboration, communication, and security capabilities unused.
Recognizing the opportunity to maximize the school’s existing technology investment, CSaaS developed an expanded implementation plan that would do far more than solve the immediate email challenge.
A Strategic Approach
Rather than simply reconfiguring Google Workspace for the school’s new domain, CSaaS recommended a complete Microsoft 365 implementation designed to create a unified platform for faculty and staff.
- Microsoft 365 tenant configuration and optimization
- Domain verification and migration to the new domain
- Exchange Online email deployment
- Microsoft Teams enablement
- Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) implementation
- SPF, DKIM, DMARC and MX record configuration
- Migration of existing Gmail email into Microsoft 365
- Faculty onboarding and training
- Mobile device and app configuration
- Document library synchronization
By consolidating email, document collaboration, cloud storage, and video conferencing into a single platform, Providence Classical School gained access to capabilities they were already licensed to use.

Preparing Teachers for Success
Technology implementations succeed when users are confident and prepared. To support faculty adoption, CSaaS scheduled an on-site “Teach the Teacher” session before the start of the school year. The team worked directly with teachers and staff to activate accounts, configure Microsoft Authenticator, install Microsoft applications on computers, tablets, and smartphones, and demonstrate best practices for using Microsoft 365 in the office.
CSaaS also developed customized reference materials and step-by-step guides to help faculty quickly become comfortable with Outlook, Teams, OneDrive, and the broader Microsoft ecosystem.
