FoodShare

Our partnership with FoodShare displays what we offer when it comes to custom software solutions. FoodShare is a non-profit provider of food for lower income citizens in several counties of South Carolina and provides food boxes on a bi-weekly basis. They originally requested a web application and database for automated management of the FoodShare business transactions. This would help them receive better data and make their allocation of fruits and vegetables to the community more efficient. The software we created for them collects customer information, tracks customer orders by region and Hub, keeps track of how it was purchased (SNAP, cash, donation, other programming), and calculates how much produce should go in each box. This solution is continuously updated to make sure the communities benefiting from this program are served to the best of our ability.
