CSAAS (Carolina Software As a Service, Inc.) is a Microsoft Certified Partner and a recognized leader among software companies following the "Software As A Service" delivery model. Our approach to software allows cost to be shared among subscribers and requires no capital outlay to purchase or maintain the system. Our focus is on web based portals, collaborative and point solutions. We define "Point" solutions as client specific applications that are used to meet "Part Of" or a specific part of an organizations software application needs. i.e. - a company needs an effective solution to accomplish a rather complex task - but cannot afford or justify purchasing a complete or new ERP (Enterprize Resource Planning) system.
We are approved participants in the Microsoft Services Provider Program which allows us to legally use the sub-components of our solutions and pay Microsoft a monthly amount.
Most of our solutions are "Net-Native" meaning they're designed to run across the internet without the use of 3rd party components like Citrix. We market a suite of accounting, remote backups/offsite storage, collaboration tools and web-time entry to commercial companies. These are branded "CSAAS Business Management Framework".
Everything we offer is billed monthly to allow the client to pay for actual usage. Our solutions share several components including MS SQL Server and it's reporting services, Microsoft Share-Point Portal Server, Microsoft Content Management Server, and MS Visual Studio.Net components.

CSaaS has entered into an alliance relationship with ERC Broadband in which CSaaS will be the exclusive sales partner for commercial sales of ERC Co-Location and data center services for Upstate South Carolina. As part of a strategic agreement, CSaaS will also build a .Microsoft .NET Hosting Center on top of the solid data center infrastructure that ERC already has.

John H. Macomson is founder and CEO.
John is a graduate of Clemson University with a B.S. in computer science and an M.B.A. After working in the software development field for over ten years John founded Carolina Software as a Service and remains with the company today as CEO. John realized the potential of on-demand software services early on and began transitioning his 15 year old company to the software as a service model in ‘2004. Since then, CSAAS has expanded to have a national presence by having built and hosting business critical On Demand applications for numerous Fortune 500 companies throughout the southeast.
CSAAS has been featured in regional business magazines, and was a 2005 and 2007 finalist for the prestigious Deloitte Innovision’s Technology Award.
In the past two years Carolina Software as a Service has tripled in size, both in revenue and employees, and continues to grow with the burgeoning software as a service movement.
